V-V Metals identifies, segregates and settles nickel-bearing scrap and superalloys, including Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy, Waspaloy, Rene and commercially pure nickel, in solid, turning, grinding and powder form.

Foundry value walks out in the residue, not the returns. Gates and risers get handled properly and then skimmings, dross and collector dust are treated as disposal cost even though a real fraction of the metal is still recoverable.

How the account is run

Every unmarked nickel-bearing lot is analysed and assigned a specific alloy family before pricing. Lot identity is tracked from receipt through shipment so a high-temperature alloy is never settled at a commodity stainless price.

Where does our material end up?

Unlike many scrap companies, V-V Metals does not sell purchased material to other scrap dealer houses. Everything we buy goes directly to mills, foundries or smelters, so there is one margin between your dock and the end user instead of two or three. Nickel Alloys scrap from foundries moves to nickel alloy remelters and superalloy producers.
